I don’t know what’s sweeter, the earthy scent of the humus I spread earlier this week, the relief of seeing a few seedlings finally find their way out of the soil, or the flavors I’m already anticipating come harvest: grilled ears of corn, the juiciness of baked squash, and hopefully more to come. Sweet, sweet, sweet.
