Just last week the sky was like granite, our breath drifted out as cold clouds, and snow swirled into white streaks across the frozen dirt. Now the sun is back, and the world is blazing with light from the Sandias in the east to the volcanoes in the west. February has given way to March; spring is on the horizon.
